PEOPLE OF SPAIN SUPPORT KING PHILIP VI IN CATALONIA CRISIS

January 12, 2018, GAD3, a consulting and research company, conducted a survey “What is the role of politicians in the Catalonia crisis?” for a popular Spanish newspaper ABC. The respondents were supposed to rate the best reaction in this difficult situation, on a scale of 0 to 10, where 0 is “very bad” and 10 is “very good”.

So, King Felipe enjoys nationwide support with rated 6. Pablo Iglesias, a professor, a scientist, a member of the Podemos party, who stated that Spain does not need King Felipe, rated last with 2.5 points. The second and the third were Ines Arrimadas and Albert Rivera, politicians from the Parliament of Catalonia, who opposed the independence of Catalonia.
