Order of the White Eagle
The Order was established in 1705 by the King of Saxony and Poland Augustus II Strong, in 1831 was included in the Order of the Russian Empire by the Imperishable Will of Emperor Nicholas I.
The Order has one degree.
Signs of the Order:
- the golden eight-pointed star, in the center of which is depicted a white flaming cross, framed by a red strip, which is in turn framed by gold stripes, on a blue enamel socket around the center of the star, an Orders motto;
- on the black enamel, double-headed, imperial eagle, a red enamel is placed on the cross, which is placed under the golden eight-pointed star, an image of a white Polish eagle, white enamel, is placed on the cross. The order's badge is worn on a moire ribbon of dark blue color, 10 cm wide through the left shoulder.
The motto of the order: "For faith, the Tsar and the law."
The total number of people awarded from 1831 is more than 4000 people.
