CHURCH WEDDING CEREMONY OF PRINCESS HELENE OF YUGOSLAVIA
On September 15, 2018, a church wedding ceremony of Princess Helene of Yugoslavia (born 1963) and Stanislas Fougeron, took place at the Saint Etienne Church in the French city of Janville. The civil wedding ceremony of the pair was held on 2 March, 2018. Princess Helene was led to the altar by her brother, Prince Sergey of Serbia and Yugoslavia. Present at the wedding ceremony were also: Prince Mikhail of Serbia and Yugoslavia, royal Prince Emmanuel-Filibert of Savoy, Duke of Venice, Prince Michelle of Orleans, count d’Evre and others. This is the second morganatic marriage of the sole daughter of Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia (1924-2016) and Maria of Savoy (born in 1934). Princess Helene of Yugoslavia is a paternal great granddaughter of the Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna (1882-1957).
